Growing up Bismark would watch his mother cook amazing meals for his family, that love for restaurants and amazing food led him to Asterisk. Bismark has been a part of the Asterisk family since the beginning. Originally starting as a dishwasher and barback and making his way through every position in the business. He found his niche in curating and crafting cocktails as a bartender. He nurtured that love and skill and has helped to develop the Asterisk bar program.
After graduating from The Ohio State University, with a degree in Political Science and Terrorism, he took over the role of Beverage Director for Ampersand. Bismark has been in restaurant industry for a brief while, however his love grows day by day. You can find him behind the bar, in the kitchen, or talking to guests. His goal is to eventually own and operate his own restaurant in the future.
